Volunteers NeededThe Walton Field Day is quickly approaching and we need people who are willing to assist in the preparation as well work the event. Don't hesitate, get involved quickly cause we need your help. This Years Walton Field Days OrganizersCongratulations to the following people for stepping forward and donating there time to the Walton and surrounding communities: Cindy LaPierre Terry Wutzke Celia Macumber Field Day is planned for August 16th, 17th and 18thTickets are now on sale for a raffle, to give away a beautiful hand made quilt donated to the Fire Department by Mom's Way Quilt's. Tickets are 1 for a dollar, 3 tickets for 2 dollars or a book for 4 dollars. Anyone interested is to contact a local member of the Fire Department, or tickets are available through the store and Cindy La Pierre or from the Walton Pub,,,so don't miss out, get your tickets while they last!! Donation Jars Now Available..Have that extra loonie or pocket change, take it on down to the Cindy's store, The Walton Pub, Mason's Garage, Local Post Office or the Fire Hall. Look for the donations jars, all funds raised will be divided between the purchase of prizes for the various events being held at Walton Field Days as well as go to help towards the purchase of the New Water Tanker for the local community. Walton Field Days Auction Drop OffDate: 14 May 2002 Time: 800 PM Place: Walton Fire Hall Bring on down you Auction donations and get a free cup of coffee and good conversation with your local friendly Volunteer Fire Fighters!!! Note: New or used items are accepted. Please help you Fire Department.
